CLIENT SUMMARY
Our Client is a US Tech Vendor and they provide a secured, interoperable collaboration platform that supports email and group calendars including document-sharing, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus, chat, videoconferencing and so on.
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Territory Manager with the sound business acumen to expand customer base and extend regional reach. This role is responsible for developing the key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans that delivers sales targets and growth ambitions in the AMER (North America and LATAM) Nascent market with a specific focus in the Caribbean and Central America.
RESPONSILBILITIES
Design, implement and execute strategic plans for the region that target key accounts and vertical markets for development to drive business expansion
Identify and acquire new customers, as well as up-sell to existing customer base across the region
Build a sustainable pipeline through accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
Collaborate with channel partners in assigned territory to drive marketing and sales activity
Work closely with other internal functions, locally and internationally to bring the right momentum into the sales process to support the closing of more deals
Understand competitive products and pricing strategies to ensure that product retains and grows market share
Conduct research and requirements gathering with customers and partners on an ongoing basis to ensure business development activities are aligned with market needs and company goals
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
3+ years of relevant B2B direct and indirect sales experience in the Central American & Caribbean region with a strong track record of success within prior experience in a regional sales role
Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving ROI through an indirect business model leveraging partners
Proven ability to effectively coordinate and work across functional teams – internally and externally, in-person and virtually
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change
Dynamic and engaging style with excellent written and oral communication across difference audiences and levels
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed - 25%
Fluency in English & Spanish are required; proficiency in Portuguese is a strong advantage.
Strategic thinker who is willing to roll the sleeves and execute on priorities independently
Attention to detail and a strong understanding of Salesforce.com and/or Hubspot preferred
A good practical understanding of messaging platforms with a focus on driving end user adoption highly desirable
Experience in Technology, Internet & SaaS businesses would have an added advantage
