ROLE SUMMARY
The Regional Solution Architecture Manager will lead and nurture a team of Solution Architects, driving technical strategy and architectural excellence throughout the region. The team consists of Solution Architects specializing in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, and SD-WAN/SASE solutions.
This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions that align with both customer needs and the company strategic objectives. It blends technical leadership, people management, and strategic business alignment to deliver innovative and impactful solutions to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the APAC Solution Architecture team, ensuring alignment with both regional and global strategies.
- Supervise the development of technical solutions across Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, and SD-WAN/SASE, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to identify strategic target accounts and develop key customer relationships within those accounts.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify and map key stakeholders in target accounts, managing relationships effectively.
- Drive innovation by utilizing proprietary Intellectual Property (IP) assets to position the company as a trusted partner, strategic advisor, and solution builder for AI-driven enterprises.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination within the team and across other stakeholders.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the APAC region.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the Solution Architect team.
- Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring the achievement of set targets and objectives.
- Offer advisory support to prospects, building trusted relationships.
- Identify the necessary products, solutions, partnerships, and alliances needed to deliver and support customer solutions.
- Review and validate the quality of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) generated by the Solution Architect team to ensure they align with customers business goals.
- Replicate successful strategies and practices across regions to drive consistent performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- People Management experience, preferably management of presales team,
- Over 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture roles within the IT industry, particularly focused on the APAC region.
- Expertise in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, and SD-WAN/SASE solutions.
- Industry certifications relevant to the area of expertise (e.g., Cisco CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully closing complex deals.
- Strong relationships with vendors and the ability to leverage partnerships for customized solutions.
- Solid understanding of local markets and the competitive landscape.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, with experience in Cloud Computing, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in analyzing and evaluating business strategies and challenges to determine technical requirements, studying current architectures, platforms, workloads, policies, and processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively interact with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
