CLIENT SUMMARY
Our Client is a US Tech Vendor and they provide a secured, interoperable collaboration platform that supports email and group calendars including document-sharing, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus, chat, videoconferencing and so on.

They are seeking for a seasoned and proactive Territory Manager to drive growth in our APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan) Emerging/Nascent Markets, specifically in Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Japanese and Mandarin, with a proven background in sales and territory management in these regions. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt and learn quickly are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSILBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the APJ Emerging Markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing and sales efforts.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand visibility.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales accurately.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or territory management, focusing on the APJ region.
  • Fluency in Japanese and Mandarin is required; proficiency in Korean and/or English is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong understanding of the business landscape, culture, and market dynamics in Japan, Korea, and the Greater China region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territories.
