RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with expertise in Open-Source ERP project management and software implementation to join our team.
The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading the successful implementation of Open-Source ERP solutions and software projects. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, project management expertise, and technical knowledge to engage with clients effectively and ensure seamless software deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in Open-Source ERP Software implementation, business development, and managing end-to-end software projects.

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading the successful implementation of Open-Source ERP solutions and software projects. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, project management expertise, and technical knowledge to engage with clients effectively and ensure seamless software deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in Open-Source ERP Software implementation, business development, and managing end-to-end software projects.
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Open-Source ERP and software solutions with existing and new customers
- Support the business lead /GM to develop and execute sales strategies to drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
- Provide excellent and timely post-sales support.
- Conduct (in-depth) market research to understand industry trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs.
Project Management & CRM Implementation:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Open-Source ERP and software implementation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, consultants, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful deployment.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Oversee system integration, customization, data migration, and user training.
- Manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of challenges.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure client satisfaction.
Technical & Strategic Expertise:
- Understand and communicate technical aspects of Open-Source ERP solutions and software products.
- Provide insights on system customization, automation, and integration with other business tools.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Open-Source ERP and enterprise software solutions.
- Recommend improvements and enhancements based on industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the software industry.
- Proven experience in Open-Source ERP project management and software implementation is required.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) models and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in Open-Source ERP systems, implementation methodologies, and system integrations.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
