Our Client is a US Tech Vendor and they provide a secured, interoperable collaboration platform that supports email and group calendars including document-sharing, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus, chat, videoconferencing, etc.
RESPONSILBILITIES
We are looking for a skilled Developer with expertise in Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Exchange Web Services (EWS) to integrate Outlook with 3rd party email client.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in email protocols, calendaring, and synchronization mechanisms to ensure seamless communication between Outlook and the 3rd party email client.

We are looking for a skilled Developer with expertise in Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Exchange Web Services (EWS) to integrate Outlook with 3rd party email client.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in email protocols, calendaring, and synchronization mechanisms to ensure seamless communication between Outlook and the 3rd party email client.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain EAS and EWS integration for Outlook compatibility.
- Implement and optimize email, calendar, contacts, and tasks synchronisation between Outlook and any other email client.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, sync failures, and compatibility concerns related to EAS/EWS.
- Collaborate with the backend engineering team to improve interoperability with Microsoft Outlook.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in the integration.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, workflows, and best practices for EAS/EWS integration.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience working with EAS, EWS, and email protocols (IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, CardDAV).
- Strong C++, Java, or Python skills for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook integration, and synchronization technologies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting email sync issues.
- Contributions to open-source email systems like Zimbra, Cyrus, or Dovecot.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols related to email services.
