Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, APAC

CLIENT SUMMARY
Our client is a global industry leader in open platform IP video management software. They provide actionable insights from video data through the perfect combination of your cameras and sensors and their open platform software and analytics.

The Finance Manager must have at least 5 years of team leadership experience, a strong understanding of financial and reporting standards in Asia Pacific.

This role requires effective collaboration with stakeholders across the APAC region, global finance teams, and various time zones, emphasizing business partnership, excellent communication skills, and high ethical standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the Accounting and Finance operations ensuring compliance in objectives, financial reporting requirements, and standards, audits, budgets, and reporting across APAC region.
  • Act as a Financial Business Partner to the APAC management team and global leadership, providing insights and recommendations to optimize sales, costs, and profitability.
  • Manage the pricing strategy and pricing structures in alignment with the company’s go-to-market approach and profitability targets across different territories.
  • Deliver regular reports on sales, pricing, cost, and profitability to ensure the management team is equipped with the latest financial data.
  • Serve as the key liaison between the APAC region and global Finance/Accounting teams.
  • Develop and implement cost control systems to monitor and manage OPEX and CAPEX, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Oversee APAC cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability and manage relationships with financial institutions.
  • Design and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes through collaboration with sales and cost center managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations related to financial results for internal and global management teams.
  • Occasional travel required (approximately 3-5 weeks per year).
 
REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of regional financial reporting and accounting standards (e.g., Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Australian and Indian Accounting Standards).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of managing finance operations in an international business environment.


GOOD TO HAVE
  • Experience in working with international organizations and cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, complex calculations).
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity.
