CLIENT SUMMARY
We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to develop migration and modernization roadmaps using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and architect solutions that align with business and IT needs.

Someone that is passionate to deliver full turn-key solutions from design, integration, commissioning to post-implementation maintenance and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement end-to-end enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform in collaboration with fellow Cloud Solution Architects and Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Framework Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to the Well-Architected Framework, focusing on performance efficiency, security, operational excellence, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Architectural Design Sessions: Conduct sessions to establish a comprehensive implementation plan that aligns with customer business objectives and technical environments, achieving consensus on solution design and next steps for production deployment.
  • Prototyping and Proof-of-Concepts: Utilize CAF Landing Zones to rapidly prototype and deliver proof-of-concept solutions that accelerate production deployment.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster deep relationships with key IT decision-makers to promote long-term cloud adoption and position them as advocates for cloud initiatives.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Address technical issues to demonstrate the value of Azure technologies and ensure effective implementation.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud architecture or a related role.
  • Preferred certifications in technologies such as Cloud Infrastructure, Data Analytics, Networking, Security, and cloud-native application architecture (e.g., containers, microservices).
  • Experience with modern software development techniques, including DevOps and CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure Developer Services, GitHub).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C++, C#, Java, Node.js, or Python.
  • Solid understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise environments, including cloud migration of on-premises workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, along with hybrid and cloud networking and cloud-native security technologies.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform).

GOOD TO HAVE
  • Experience with container orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML and IoT technologies.
  • Ability to articulate the technical and business value of cloud services to customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting Assessment & Discovery workshops and designing scalable, highly available cloud architectures.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with business units to transform workflows.
