RESPONSILBILITIES
The Solution Architect (Pre-sales) is expected to demonstrate professional knowledge and behaviour on assignments, taking care for customers and activities with important attention to the team aspect. You are able to work & deliver autonomously, coaching colleagues while working on customer and internal engagements.
Evaluate all business requirements and to provide SAP solutions and an integrated approach for SAP customers.
Provide technical consultation to customers through understanding customers’ requirements and recommending the most suitable solutions and services.
Provide support to internal stakeholders in the sales process.
Work with sales on proposals and proposal presentation.
Provide support to marketing in marketing materials and events.
Engage vendors for support and solutions.
Design Technical and Solution Architecture.
Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients, with technical and architecture design, configuration, and customisation of SAP products.
Consult project teams and consultants developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behaviour and/or any potential changes clients would like.
Help the sales team to reach targets with suggest solutions and best practices.
Conduct research into the industry – including competitor research, providing advice on SAP functionality, organisational change, and other advisory services.
Encourage clients to buy extras, upgrades etc.
Consider potential markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users.
