Our client is a startup data centre company in Asia, formed by a group of seasoned data centre professionals, engineers, and entrepreneurs. They provide smart solutions for companies of all sizes and their value proposition is to provide much needed green Data Centre solutions to the largest enterprises in the technology sector and other industries.


The Senior Sales Director covers all of Korea domestic, Korea outbound and international inbound territory. This is an opportunity to join a disruptive green DC operator with significant expansion plans across Asia Pacific and create your footprint as a sales expert. You will have significant exposure to the full data centre development lifecycle along with C-level exposure.
This role will be based in Seoul and will directly report to the CEO.

  • Create opportunities to serve customers’ expansion plans across Asia Pacific - establishes, maintains and expands relationships with target customers who already have or are building a Asia Pacific presence. You will work with Cloud, Content (including OTT), Finance, Government and Enterprise customer accounts to influence and The Company as their preferred data centre partner.
  • Proactively lead and execute a strategic account planning process to support customer expansion plans.
  • Using your network and interpersonal skills, you will cultivate strong relationships throughout target customer organisations to influence the sales process.
  • Supported by in-house technical teams will qualify and deliver accurate and complete solutions. He/she will maintain close contact with the customer throughout project delivery phases and maintain ongoing communication to ensure customer success.
  • Meet assigned sales and revenue targets - responsible for closing deals with target accounts and developing new customer pipeline.
  • Lead customer account planning cycles and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by The company.
  • Negotiate new and renewal contracts, supported by in-house resources
  • Accurate forecasting and reporting on opportunities to management for planning purposes
  • Commercially and financially astute, with the ability to lead contract negotiations to maximise profitability and manage risk

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienc
  • At least 12 years of experience in a Sales / Account Management role.
  • Diverse experience selling hyperscale/scale/colocation data centre space will be highly regarded.
  • Must be a team player and possess a hunter mentality.
  • Ability to work independently being the only sales in country.
  • Have a sense of urgency to help meet customer objectives and working well with cross functional team members is critical to success in this role
  • Existing relationships with international/regional/local hyperscale and enterprise customers is preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of the data centre industry, investment trends and customer requirements
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
  • The ability to travel when required
