Role

Company is seeking a dynamic and driven HR Generalist to join our growing APJ HR team! In this role, you will be partnering with the managers in India and a few other leaders in region to drive and manage HR processes and programs. You are expected to provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers and be the go to person for all HR related matters from India in view of our growing presence. As part of the global HR team, you will also be the regional voice in the global work streams and ensure the rollout of global initiatives are aligned with local legislation and best practices for the respective region. In addition you will also be involved in driving key HR programs across the region. This position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner - APJ. Success in this role will require a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and an ability to prioritize and multitask.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers in India and a few other specified regions.
  • Manage employee on-boarding and termination processes.
  • Ensure that the HR processes and practices are competitive and compliant with local legislation and best practices in the industry.
  • Partner and coach managers to drive employees’ engagement.
  • Drive HR Programs like performance assessment, salary increase cycles, training across the respective assigned regions
  • Assist in hiring efforts alongside APJ recruitment team whenever necessary
  • Partner with the global HR team to rollout global initiatives in region to ensure alignment with local needs
  • Act as project manager for assigned HR initiatives and projects for the assigned region

Job Requirements 

    • Bachelor degree
    • At least  5 years of HR Generalist experience
    • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee relations. Prior experience in handling India HR matters is required
    • Periodic travel to India as and when necessary & required .
    • Highly motivated, energetic, positive working attitude and a quick learner
    • Strong problem solving and stakeholder management skills
    • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
    • Experience in the IT Technology industry is a plus
    • Language of Hindi is preferred
