They provide a secure, interoperable collaboration platform that supports email and group calendars including document-sharing, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus, chat, videoconferencing and so on. open-source server and client software for messaging and collaboration.
Their product can be deployed on-prem, in a private or public cloud as a virtual appliance or as a cloud service (SaaS) from the company hosting provider.


The Sr. Sales Engineer (Presales) role sit on the Channel GTM team. This role plays a pivotal role in expanding their reach within the North and South American markets by building strategic partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and large Internet Service Providers/Service Providers (ISPs/SPs).

This position supports pre-sales initiatives for the Company product and opportunities by working with the sales and client services teams to architect, design, propose, and close both existing and new business opportunities. This person must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and will become part of a team focused on delivery high quality solutions with excellent customer service. 
Passionate about cloud-based solutions and possess fluency in Spanish or Portuguese

  • Jointly develop and execute targeted sales strategy in collaboration with the Sales and Channel GTM team to recruit and onboard MSPs across North America.
  • Communicate the value proposition of the Company managed email service, to MSPs, equipping them to effectively resell it to their own clients.
  • Engage with large ISP/SPs throughout the sales cycle, demonstrating your advanced technical knowledge in positioning the product as well as engaging the various customer teams in managing their mail requirements.
  • Conduct technical deep dives with ISPs/SPs regarding integrations, customizations, migrations, and general consultations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners across North and South America, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential partners and clients.
  • Supporting and work in partnership with 2 sales personals, one in North America and one in South America. 
  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations 
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Advise product and management teams on requirements for enhancements to current and new products!
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Able to travel as this is a remote role within US.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in related area (Engineering, etc).
  • Solid understanding of the technologies and systems related to email and collaboration products like some basic scripting skills (Bash/Perl/Python) and overall understanding of technologies like LDAP, DB, web server is important. 
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales role, preferably within the IT or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a solid grasp of integrations, customizations, and migrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated experience in dealing successfully with clients and customers both orally and in writing
  • Experience and expertise in creating and delivering presentations to internal and external groups, demonstrated ease and comfort explaining complex technologies and products to non-technical groups
  • Ability to think creatively and to work independently. 
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a MUST.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based email solutions and managed services.
