CLIENT SUMMARY
Our client is a technology and services company with HQ in New York. They provide a secure, interoperable collaboration platform that supports email and group calendars including document-sharing, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus, chat, videoconferencing and so on. open-source server and client software for messaging and collaboration.
Their product can be deployed on-prem, in a private or public cloud as a virtual appliance or as a cloud service (SaaS) from the company hosting provider.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The company is seeking for a strategic sales leader with the sound business acumen to expand customer base and extend regional reach for the company. This role is responsible for developing the key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans that delivers the Company sales targets and growth ambitions in North America.
This is a remote and candidates must reside in the U.S.

  • Design, implement and execute strategic plans for the region that target key accounts and vertical markets for development to drive business expansion
  • Identify and acquire new customers, as well as up-sell to existing customer base across the region
  • Build a sustainable pipeline through accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
  • Collaborate with channel partners in assigned territory to drive marketing and sales activity
  • Work closely with other internal functions, locally and internationally to bring the right momentum into the sales process to support the closing of more deals
  • Understand competitive products and pricing strategies to ensure that the company retains and grows market share
  • Conduct research and requirements gathering with customers and partners on an ongoing basis to ensure business development activities are aligned with market needs and company goals
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience selling Technology, Internet & SaaS solutions to the Telecommunications industry.
  • Have entrepreneur mindset in start-up culture.
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field
  • More than 10 years of relevant B2B direct and indirect sales experience in North America with a strong track record of success within prior experience in a regional sales role
  • Experience in measuring and improving ROI through an indirect business model leveraging partners
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and work across functional teams – internally and externally, in-person and virtually
  • Ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change
  • Dynamic and engaging style with excellent written and oral communication across difference audiences and levels
  • Experienced in bringing the company business to the next level in the region.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Have good practical understanding of email system and/or similar messaging platforms with a focus on driving end user adoption highly desirable
