Client Summary 

Our Client aims to be the world thought and practice leader in capital projects and facilities management processes and systems.

 Our Client transforms traditional project planning, execution and control paradigms to ensure that all project resources (capital and human) are effectively allocated and utilized; and where progress toward and achievement of project milestones are transparently observable throughout the organization on a real-time basis.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop new ILT courses in both English and Korean, which involve learning new software quickly through research, trial/error and sessions with subject matter experts then using development templates to build courses, interactive activities/testing, student workbooks and teacher guides
  • Update existing courses as versions change, properly incorporating new features, functions and interfaces as well as localizing them for the Korean market
  • Prepare and research lessons and client industries prior to training
  • Effectively teach instructor-led, hands-on software training courses in both English and Korean, deploying a variety of teaching methods, including delivering and grading course activities/examinations
  • Ensure professional, polished deliverables are presented to our clients and internal employees
  • Liaise with Company clients to schedule training and handle course logistics, including printing/binding/distribution of materials
  • Bring your expertise, knowledge, and unique point of view and share it with your company team

 Requirements

You are an energetic, passionate software professional who has fallen in love with writing and teaching instructor-led courses on a variety of complex topics, spanning from end-user application training to highly technical application configuration courses.
You are always told that you are a people person with exceptional communication skills in both English and Korean, and you enjoy interacting with people at all levels in an organization. 
You have years of experience working with enterprise level software applications and find learning new, complex software programs a satisfying challenge that comes easy.

You are eager to embrace the existing instructional design standards and methodologies and will gladly follow the given training curriculum when teaching courses. 
You look forward to working closely with other instructors/instructional designers to update and improve existing courses while also writing new ones. 
Your engaging personality makes it easy for others to learn from you and your creativity allows you to develop fun, interactive ways for the students to quickly absorb the topics. 

You are meticulous, ensuring all classroom logistics are properly coordinated and handled for all venues. 
You are extremely organized and motivated, shining with a positive, infectious attitude.  You are excited when the “light bulb” comes on for students and they gain useful knowledge – not just where to click, but why they are doing it and what impact it will have on their job going forward.  You are confident and engaging to share what you know and humble and excited to learn what you don’t.

You work effectively in a remote team structure, are vocal and forthcoming, a strong team player with the ability to self-manage.  
You leverage tools proactively to track tasks, activities, and statuses, enjoy setting and achieving goals within specified deadlines. 
You will be located in Seoul, Beijing or Shanghai.

Core Qualifications: 

  • Ability to learn complex software in a short time-frame, using materials provided, watching others teach, personal research and self-study
  • 3-4 years’ experience implementing or supporting large enterprise level applications (like Project Management, ERP, or other complex cost and project management solutions)
  • 2-3 years’ experience writing and teaching ILT classes for large enterprise level and/or complex software applications in a business environment
  • Phenomenal organizational, communication, presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills; you are confident, clear, succinct and courteous
  • Ability to effectively explain complex topics in a variety of ways to successfully impart knowledge to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to motivate others, staying patient and up-beat
  • Proficient in all MS Office products (especially PowerPoint)
  • Goal-oriented, self-directed and motivated, requiring very little oversight and direction
  • Dynamic, positive personality, comfortable working in an ever changing, fluid environment
  • Ability to travel frequently to teach on-site courses and discuss training needs at client locations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, education or relevant field
  • Proficient in both English and Korean (speaking, reading and writing)

Good To have

  • Experience writing/using e-learning courses
  • Proficient in Chinese (speaking, reading and writing)
