Client Summary 

Our client is one of the most advanced companies in the business of providing on-demand delivery of IT resources via the Internet. Based in the US, the vendor is one of the largest and most progressive internet companies.

Our client is looking for a talented Team leader for their Global Selling business in Vietnam capable of leading a team focused on general marketing related to selling on our client’s global marketplaces, identification and generation of Vietnam seller leads, and targeted campaign creation with the intent of marketing to prospective Sellers in Vietnam to expand their product reach with globally.
The ideal candidate brings rich industry experience, strong people leadership, a relentless focus on the customer, and a big vision. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a Vietnam-based marketing team, focused on networking with Vietnam sellers to better educate them on the benefits of selling their products on our client’s global marketplaces.
  1. Analyse opportunities and develop and implement marketing strategies and business plans to grow selection from Vietnam sellers
  2. Build a strong team of Sales and Marketing, Account Management and Integration talent
  3. Partner with Product, Legal, Tax, Seller Performance, and Seller Support on gating, product quality, reporting, and compliance
  4. Drive Seller success as measured by lead generation, adoption, performance, year-over-year growth and profitability
  5. Participate in periodic business reviews with our client's executive leadership
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
  2. 10+ years of experience with a blend of Sales, technical, business and product and/or program management roles
  3. People management experience 
  4. 7 years’ work experience in Vietnam
  5. MBA or relevant work experience
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
  7. Ability to interact at C-level with medium to large Vietnam and multinational companies

  4. High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  5. Successful experience in hiring, people development, and managing large multi-level teams
  6. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that will enable you to earn trust at all levels
  7. Extreme attention to detail and desire to roll up your sleeves
  8. Experience delivering software or online products to market
  9. Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or technology with relevant work experience
