Job Description:

  • Engage with C-level executives to define Enterprise cloud strategies
  • Assist sales to identify customers’ motivators and barriers for cloud adoption. Support Sales engagement cycle. Help customer to build business case to transform legacy IT to Cloud computing
  • Run cloud architecture workshops with our customers to develop their cloud strategy, Cloud plans and final reports
  • Identify dependencies and common infrastructure platform components, assess cloud migration feasibility and generate migration roadmaps
  • Conduct technical studies and evaluations of business area requirements and recommend to IT management appropriate cloud technology options
  • Architect public, virtual private, hybrid and fully private cloud solutions
  • Cost and Benefit modelling and create compelling business cases for migration and transition
  • Customize consulting service offerings according to business requirements and target markets
  • Lead the delivery of major cloud consulting engagements
  • Follow through on all assignments and take ownership of customer issues
  • Collect feedback from general Enterprise requirements into service development teams
  • Both a team member and team leader on initiatives, act as a coach for peers, new hires and initiate participants from other areas in the organization
  • Keep up to date market trends and competitive insights
  • Drive cloud partner engagement to provide the best in class solution

Technical Capabilities / Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Data centre infrastructure (Storage, Backup and Archive, Networking, Server Technologies, etc), Cloud deployment model and Cloud Service delivery model, Server virtualization and Cloud orchestration / automation
  • Expert in OpenStack and KVM technologies, VMware knowledge is a plus
  • Good understanding of customers business strategies, needs, and opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer management skills up to C level
  • Ability to manage high pressure customer situations and build trust with the customers
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
  • Broad Enterprise systems knowledge including Microsoft, Linux, Ubuntu, centos and container
  • Familiarity with industry compliance and cloud security requirement
  • Problem solver who can lead team through crisis situations through rational approach, mature judgment and clear coordination of tasks
  • Result and objective oriented
  • With solid APAC regional experience in a matrix organization


  • At least 12 years of IT experience in customer-facing roles
  • Any cloud related discipline certifications are of advantage
  • Certified Service Management ITIL Version 3 (preferable)

Qualifications and Learning:

  • University Degree in IT, Computer Studies
  • Master Degree in Business or MBA is of advantage
