Client Summary

Out client is one of the market leader in the BI space.

As Enterprise Territory Sales Manager, you base in Singapore and will be predominantly responsible for driving new business sales of “The Company” products within a set of Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, whilst continuing to grow the existing customers within your geographic territory, Eastern China.

This role manages all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, product demonstrations, evaluation, close, expansion and ensuring the successful adoption of “The Company” within the customer account. This is a quota-carrying sales position that plays an integral role in the success of the overall sales team. The role will be predominantly office based with occasional opportunity for on-site customer meetings.


  • Define and execute territory or account sales plans for Eastern China and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the territory in line with the overall strategy formulated by the Sales Manager or Director or VP

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline of at least 3x revenue target – prospect and assess new sales potential while moving a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.

  • Work to expand usage of “The Company” within a given customer and ensure the success of the customer with “The Company” working closely with Customer Solutions

  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in our CRM system

  • Coordinate required resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering

  • Provide initial product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers

  • Nurture and expand the company’s relationship with customer accounts of all sizes

  • Occasional travel to customer locations in Eastern China in support of sales efforts.

  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system

  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products

  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff

  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care.


  • Several years of software sales experience, including interactions with complex sales campaigns to sizeable clients delivering 6 figure wins.

  • Experience selling to Director-level and higher contacts within enterprise accounts

  • Consistent over-achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory

  • Desire to bring new customers into “The Company” franchise and maximize revenue

  • Successful experience working with channels.

Good to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree with a technical or business focus preferred

  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred.
